The five-star La Marquise, which is scheduled to open in May 2009, is located with walking distance of the restored Italian Monument Kallithea Springs and is just 10km from Rhodes Town. Why do I cry? I am all alone on the wrong train. I need to find the train to Goa. There are no tourists. Anywhere. It is just me and the head-wagging Eenjins, yet I cry. This is what I wanted, no? Total unfamiliarity. Escapism. Why do I fear the next 40 hours or so where I will have to suffer my own company sans entertainment. The landscape is bleak - miles and miles of fields with no lights punctuated by the occasional zhodpatti - or slum.

Kempinski has announced that Bilila Lodge Kempinski will open on 1st June 2009 in the Serengeti National Park, one of Tanzanias UNESCO World Heritage sites, claiming a first as the only global hotel chain to have a stake in the lodge market.
